My son took bass guitar lessons from Jordan for several years. We were extremely happy with every aspect of his learning experience. Jordan has a very thorough knowledge base and an easy-going manner, which really appeals to young people. I played three instruments while growing up, and when sitting in on the first few lessons, heard things about music I never knew existed! I didn't know how much I didn't know about scales and music theory, until I listened to Jordan teach all of this wonderful information.

Because of this excellent foundation, my 18-year-old son is now quite an accomplished musician. He plays by ear, transposes music, and has written some origninal songs-including arranging it for several instruments as one of Jordan's assignments! We had tried two or three other bass teachers before taking lessons from Jordan. Finding Jordan, was the best thing that happened in my son's musical development. As I recently stated in a thank you note to Jordan, he gave my son the gift of a lifetime of music!

After I retired I decided I wanted to learn to play the guitar. I started on my own but soon realized that if I wanted to get better I needed lessons. A friend suggested I give Jordan a call and I have continued lessons for several years.

Jordan has been very patient and very good at adapting practice techniques for older, stiff hands. I also enjoy the theory work that helps with understanding.

At Jordan White Studios my son Josh has learned so much as far as music theory goes and his achievements can be attributed to the way Jordan teaches and uses entertaining examples to illustrate theory. My son looks forward to his lesson every week!
